it’s christmas time again.. (Tuesday January 23rd, 2007 - 23:36)

category: mmhuh?

What do you feel when the band you’ve loved, who’s been your number 1, for half of your life, announces that they are going to play a gig in the US in April?

The last time you travelled to the US to see them, back in 1998, thrill and excitement spilling out of your pockets, they promptly self-imploded on stage after 15 minutes. Despite the band continuing on the road, minus one member, to fulfill their tour requirements, and those gigs providing you with a holiday you won’t ever forget, and the years and solo/other project gigs in between, the fun travels they provided, the people met because of the shared love, why does it feel so weird?

I’m not sure whether to laugh or fall over. I think I’m just smiling. I never expected for them to do it again. I may be stunned that they are giving it a go, but I’m happy for them. I’m happy..

(and if you don’t know who I’m talking about, it really doesn’t matter, this ramble’s mainly for me, I just felt like sharing anyway, a few will understand)

As soon as i saw the announcement i thought of you. I bet you were considering how many pennies it’d take to head over there.

You’re talking about primal scream, right?

What day are we flying?

The difference being that I’m going to be there this time. You really should come if you can. I’m bound to bang my head on a piece of storefront glass again somewhere along the way. You can’t BUY entertainment like that anymore :-). Maybe Ben wants to come too then you could share the fare over.

Getting from A to B is the hardest walk. The rest is easy.

I wish I didn’t think so much because maybe then I’d be able to just make a decision.

Hmm.. still thinking.

We’re going. Stop thinking.

Megan and I have already started making our own arrangements…well, we haven’t, but our mother is quite happy to do all that she says.

Heh, I knew what you were talking about. You should definitely do it.

And let me know if they tour the UK and you decide to come along for the ride 😉

I know exactly what are you talking about. The JAMC are my favourite band of my whole life and I’m ready to travel 16.000 kilometers from Santiago de Chile to LA just to see them live once and see how a dream becomes true on a stage…
