We’re not even a third of the way through Spring and it’s over 30°. I’d left a candle on my balcony table but this morning when I went out to look at the world I found it collapsed over itself, partially melted.
[Edit at 5:00pm] This afternoon, again on the balcony, the smell of bushfires reached me here in the city. It’s going to be a long painful summer.
Hmph, the reason why I really shouldn’t read Australian blogs at this time of year. Here in Sheffield, we’re enjoying a few days rich autumn sunshine interspersed with heavy rain, but central heating season is upon us and things are getting S.A.D.
