the needs of a stop-light (Sunday January 22nd, 2006 - 22:27)

category: mmhuh?

Last night watching the Australian Open tennis the commentators were gossiping along about someone when one of them said that suchandsuch was from a small town. The other stated “a one stop-light town” to which the first retorted “not even that!”

How many people does it take to need a stop-light/traffic-light in a town?

did you know that a representative of Finland finally won an open 2 weeks ago – the auckland open, but a tournament nevertheless.

as for your pondering…I went to Forster last week, and they have no traffic lights, but a fair chunk of western sydney staying their. Its all relative…in the cities of the future, freeways will replace traffic lights…but the trade off will be more dead pedestrians.
Scary thought..I might bring megs and join you in the bunker.

anyway, Rugby League season soon…megs has vowed to educate you on the genius and ‘beauty’ (her words) of ‘her’ Sonny Bill Williams

Forster does have streetlights…A whole Intersection full of them actually. And there is hardly any Western Sydney staying there, its all of Newcastle.
