Kimi drove off in to the sunset last night with the happiest of hearts and the biggest smile his stolid finn-ice face could manage. I tossed and turned all night having stayed up until 1.30am with my heart thumping work-out style to will his four-wheeled vehicle home (yeah yeah.. it was a delayed broadcast but it still counts).
I hadn’t mentioned dear Kimi on here lately, but it’s touching when a handful of people commiserated – via email, text and in person – at his steering wheel throw inducing incident at San Marino. He was breaking my heart you see, my will, my want. But it’s all better now after he romped off ahead of the pack and didn’t let anyone sniff at his rear wheels.
Well done my sweetest Kimi, may the Finnish national anthem ring again at Monaco.
