more parks (Saturday November 13th, 2004 - 17:26)

I knew there was something slightly wrong with the artists impression of the proposed park opposite town hall but I didn’t realise what it was until I went to have a look at the area this morning.

The block in question (not quite the right angle but note the white on black sign for the Underground Bar on the left hand side of each image and you’ll get the idea):

The artist seems to have decided to remove most of the traffic lights at the intersection and more significantly the Monorail track that goes along Pitt Street!
