quiet as a (dead) mouse (Saturday August 7th, 2004 - 16:35)

category: mmhuh?

This wee site is still in need of repairs and finishing the change over from the previous look to this one but little ol’ me has been busy running about town, working, and just generally having a life.

The bathroom has been complete for a while but photos will wait for the next post. My Canon EOS 300D has been getting a work out. My taxes are halfway done. I’ve almost convinced myself to go and get my Learner Driver’s permit for the n-th time (one day I’ll actually take the driving test to proceed to the next level). The days are feeling longer. The sun has been shining.

Was beginning to think you’d gone Niina non grata on us. Cool shots of Museum Station and Hyde Park! Still can’t believe I was in Sydney recently.

Hope you made it to the DKT-MC5/Lime Spiders reunion show at the Gaelic a few weeks ago!

Glad to see you’re still around, N. Let’s rock. Let’s roll….

Oh yeah! You definitely should get your driver’s license. Just for the absolute pleasure of popping in the cassette version (NOT THE DIGITAL CD VERSION!) of Automatic and hurtling down the highway. On the road. Under a sky. Coast to Coast satisfaction guaranteed.

Take it while it’s going.

woah…. that’s one funky camera. C has just bought a chemical camera (is that what they are called?) it’s model is spookily similar to yours – EOS-300V.

300D…. /me is seriously jealous 🙂 have just started using my EOS500 again, partially due to annoyance at the shutter delay on my digi.

is the 300D fairly responsive? ie. shutter fires as soon as you press the button?
