People are approaching the concept of time travel from the wrong direction. Now, I’ve not read anything about real research in to time travel or time displacement, and fiction is the worst place to start at when trying to develop an idea, but I’ll start from there anyway.
Numerous movies and novels have focussed on time travel in a physical sense. It’s my belief that our physical bodies are too clumsy for such a complex activity. Instead, it is our minds with which we should be travelling.
The human mind is an invisible object. Where as we can tell if a person has two legs, we can not tell to what degree a persons mind is present.
Through nonscientific and nonreligious means, I’ve come to the conclusion that our mind is not dependent on the human form. Our body is a vehicle for the mind and allows it to experience physical sensations. Once death has occurred, our mind can continue existance, though not all do.
Anyways, this is not about my theory of the mind, but what concerns me is that time travel should be possible with the use of the mind, rather than the body. Being such a nonphysical form, the mind is easier to transport than the body.
